CHANCE Workshop-On SCWEC Product Quality Improvement-Certifications in the Handicrafts, Textiles and Food Sectors

SCWEC PRODUCT QUALITY IMPROVEMENT-CERTIFICATIONS IN THE HANDICRAFTS, TEXTILE AND FOOD SECTORS was held at New Delhi, India. The aim of this workshop was to attempt to raise the quality of products produced by businesswomen in the SAARC region by giving inputs on quality certifications that are benchmarks for quality. Quality management systems were also discussed both at the micro level, for SMEs and at the macro level for SCWEC as a whole. Representatives of SCWEC from the handicrafts, textile and food sectors from all the SAARC member states participated in the workshop.
